Re-imagining Orlando’s Talent Supply
Re-imagining Orlando’s Talent Supply is a special report series focuses on talent and covers how skills-based hiring can generate value for both employers and applicants, especially in today’s post pandemic environment.
UpSkill Orlando: Skills Explorer
The dashboard below offers a new approach to recruiting tech talent. By focusing on the skills required of the job, instead of past degree or work requirements, this tool identifies occupations that match an employer’s needs based on skills, while highlighting upward mobility opportunities for Orlando residents. Company executives, human resource professionals, and hiring managers should use this tool to explore the skills and tasks necessary for their tech and semiconductor manufacturing job postings and identify other occupations with a high skill overlap.
*Note: The dashboard works best in full screen on a desktop computer.
WHITEPAPER SERIES

The Semiconductor Manufacturing in Orlando whitepaper series is a deep dive into the workforce needs of the semiconductor manufacturing industry in Orlando. Part I is a primer explaining the global supply chain and industry in Orlando for people not familiar with semiconductor manufacturing. Part II identifies multiple occupations that have a high level of skill overlap with jobs in the industry and identifies which skills would need to be developed before someone could move into a semiconductor manufacturing role.
