preparing the region for the future of work
Made possible through the generous support of JP Morgan Chase & Co., UpSkill Orlando is a regional, skills-based talent strategy driving a pathway to Broad-based Prosperity®. UpSkill Orlando works to create upward mobility opportunities by working with local employers and educators together to create skills-based career pathways.
In a special report series focused on talent, the Foundation covers how skills-based hiring can generate value for both employers and applicants, especially in today’s pandemic environment.
UpSkill Orlando: Tech Skills Explorer
The dashboard below offers a new approach to recruiting tech talent. By focusing on the skills required of the job, instead of past degree or work requirements, this tool identifies occupations that match an employer’s needs based on skills, while highlighting upward mobility opportunities for Orlando residents. Company executives, human resource professionals, and hiring managers should use this tool to explore the skills and tasks necessary for their tech job postings and identify other occupations with a high skill overlap.
*Note: The dashboard works best in full screen on a desktop computer.
