Semiconductor Manufacturing in Orlando

The Semiconductor Manufacturing in Orlando whitepaper series is a deep dive into the workforce needs of the semiconductor manufacturing industry in Orlando.

Part I is a primer explaining the global supply chain and industry in Orlando for people not familiar with semiconductor manufacturing.

Part II identifies multiple occupations that have a high level of skill overlap with jobs in the industry and identifies which skills would need to be developed before someone could move into a semiconductor manufacturing role.

Part III of the series maps the semiconductor manufacturing education ecosystem developing in Orlando. The report captures insights from educators across the region, ranging from the K-12 to the university level, and describes the new programs being built in Orlando that will support the semiconductor manufacturing industry’s quest for talented workers.
