The Orlando Economic Partnership, in partnership with Florida Semiconductor Engine, and the Florida High Tech Corridor, invites you to the third event in the Central Florida Semiconductor Cluster’s Educational Ecosystem Series at the Valencia College Osceola Campus.
This event celebrates the launch of Valencia College’s new Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Semiconductor Engineering Technology—the first program of its kind in the state of Florida.
Funded by the Florida Department of Commerce, Florida Department of Education, and Florida Semiconductor Engine, the program is launching its first cohort in August 2025. It is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in the fast-growing semiconductor industry, while also providing a seamless pathway to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Semiconductor Engineering Technology at the University of Central Florida through Valencia’s A.S. to B.S. Track.
Attendees will enjoy guided tours of the new facility, learn directly from Valencia faculty and staff about the curriculum and student experience, and connect with local and state leaders building the programs that fuel our region’s talent pipeline. Tours will be offered throughout the evening, accompanied by passed hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
