The Orlando Regional Chamber understands the importance of attracting, cultivating and retaining talent in Central Florida. In 2017, a volunteer committee comprised of members of our YP: NEXT program, launched iGRO, a two-month program designed to retain our business community’s summer interns and new hires through showcasing the other half of Orlando.
Who Can Participate?
iGRO is designed to build connections and showcase the unique assets our community has to offer. Therefore, an organization’s interns or new hires (under 2 years living in the region) are the best fit for this program.
The program schedule includes after-hour and weekend programs, events and activities that accommodate participants’ work schedules.
Orlando Economic Partnership Investor – Complimentary seat depending on investor level | $100 member rate for additional participants
Orlando Regional Chamber Members | $100 per intern or new hire
Non-Investor/Member | $250 per intern or new hire
“Being a part of iGRO allowed me to explore the city I have always loved. I thoroughly enjoyed the events, especially the panel with Mayor Dyer, Orlando City Soccer games, social activities…”
– Sarah Zets
Account Executive at Poston Communications
