With over $500 million in federal and state investments, including a $50.8 million Build Back Better award and a $289 million Department of Defense contract, the region is advancing semiconductor innovation. Focused on specialized advanced packaging, Central Florida supports critical industries like defense, healthcare, and autonomous systems. Regional stakeholders are actively developing workforce programs to meet industry demands, positioning Central Florida as a key player in the future of U.S. semiconductor manufacturing.

The Semiconductor Industry in Orlando whitepaper series is a deep dive into the workforce needs of the semiconductor industry in Orlando.
