Join Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, along with your fellow local business leaders, for the E3 Orange County/Orlando Spark event on Friday, November 12, 2021 from noon to 4:30 pm in the Fairview Conference Room at Orlando City Hall, 9th floor. The E3 Orange County/Orlando Initiative is a new partnership with Orange County Government, the City of Orlando, Black Orlando Tech, and Forward Cities in efforts to ensure that every person in Orlando is equally valued, equally protected and has equitable access to opportunities. We have embarked on a 12-month exercise to align local stakeholders within the City of Orlando and Orange County to identify specific priorities the community could pursue to grow and sustain a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem. The result of this process will be a detailed strategic plan to advance these strategies to further address racial injustices and economic inequities that exist for minority entrepreneurs. The E3 Orange County/Orlando initiative is a collaborative approach to building and sustaining a more equitable local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event will feature networking opportunities, remarks from both Mayor Demings and Mayor Dyer, an overview of the E3 Orange County/Orlando project, and an interactive session about equity in our local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The day will begin with a one-hour networking reception at noon and once the agenda concludes, another networking opportunity from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Parking will be provided in the City Commons garage located at 460 Boone Avenue. Please bring your parking ticket to the event for validation.
