Chamber-Backed Petition to Reform on Citizen Initiatives
BusinessForceChamber-backed proposals designed to reform and improve the manner in which citizen's initiatives come before Orange County voters will be the subject of a public hearing at tomorrow's Orange County Commission meeting. The proposals are part of a comprehensive package of Orange County Charter reform proposals sponsored by District 2 Orange County Commissioner Fred Brummer to increase the size of the Orange County Commission, require term limits and non-partisan elections for county constitutional offices and revise the current procedures for citizen's initiatives and referendums.
