Small Business Forum on April 11th

On April 11th, I will be hosting a Small Business Forum which will provide information on Federal, state, local and private programs and initiatives that support small businesses and future entrepreneurial activities. I wanted to ask your assistance in informing your membership of this opportunity to hear firsthand about programs and services to assist small business development.

IDEAS TO RESULTS
Orientation, Scavenger Hunt, and LYNX ROADEO!
John MicaThroughout Downtown Orlando on Wednesday, you may have noticed teams of blue-tee-shirted guys and gals on a frantic search for landmarks, artwork, restaurants, and museums, using the LYMMO circulator and their own two feet. They were the members of Leadership Orlando Class 87 seeking items and answers to a Scavenger Hunt that was part of their Orientation Session.
A Better Way for Business
John LewisThe excitement and momentum are growing, with more to come in the weeks ahead, since SunRail will begin service in the Spring of 2014! You and your colleagues are invited to attend the "Chamber Rally for SunRail," presented by Orlando, Inc., on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce Building, 75 South Ivanhoe Boulevard, in Downtown Orlando.
By Myra Monreal, City of Orlando, Leadership Orlando Class 86
John MicaWe can't all have a swing like Arnold Palmer, but a good time was had by the members of Leadership Orlando Class 86 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. Sure you can watch golf on television, but in Orlando we are fortunate to have community events right in our back yard. Besides, classmate Joshua Snyder from Rollins College needed a reason to purchase and sport his first golf look.
