The 104th Annual Central Fair kicked off on Thursday, February 25, 2015, and members of Orlando, Inc., helped kick off the opening by attending iConnect, hosted by the Central Florida Fair the morning of the Fair’s Grand Opening. Recently, three separate nonprofit groups in Central Florida (Mi Familia Vota, Organize Now! and Latino Leadership Institute) have appeared on the Orlando Sentinel Opinion pages. While each of these groups engages in laudable local work, they also have strong ties to organized labor and, in effect, serve as "independent" third-party vehicles to advance Big Labor's agenda.
