Featuring:
Mr. Alex Sanchez
President & Chief Executive Officer
Florida Bankers Association
Alex Sanchez is President and CEO of the Florida Bankers Association, the leading voice for Florida’s banking industry. Prior to serving in this role, Alex was an attorney specializing in business law as well as a Senior Corporate Attorney for GTE Information Services. He also served as Assistant General Counsel to Consolidated Bank and was General Counsel for the Florida Department of Commerce. In addition, Alex has served as one of three Presidential appointees on the five person Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, and as Governor Bush’s nomination to the Florida Schools of Excellence Commission.
"Banking" on Your Business will delve into how our Central Florida Banks have fared in response to the adverse press banks have received. Alex will discuss how the banking industry will move forward, as well as what businesses can expect from banks for the remainder of 2009 and 2010. Knowing the question on most business owners' minds, Mr. Sanchez will address when he thinks access to capital will ease and how businesses can prepare for this change. Finally, he will discuss when and how he thinks the economic stimulus package will impact Florida.
You will want to join us April 9 for this "must attend" briefing…and you may want to bring your banker!
