With 500 acres of developable land, NeoCity provides excellent access to an international airport and strong connections to highway networks, regional and commuter rail and local mobility services. The site is located only 20 minutes from the Orlando International Airport and less than a mile from the Florida Turnpike, with close proximity to Kissimmee Gateway Airport and the SunRail commuter line station in downtown Kissimee. It is also only 30 minutes from the largest university in the country, University of Central Florida (UCF).

Recent Investments

In the past year and a half alone, the Orlando region has secured over half a billion dollars in federal and state support for the region’s semiconductor industry and NeoCity, largely thanks to unique and collaborative public-private partnerships and support from leaders like Congressman Darren Soto.

A $2.9 million State of Florida appropriation to fund the initial capital investment for BRIDG’s design center’s equipment, was passed by the legislature and is currently awaiting the Governor’s approval.
U.S. Department of Defense Cornerstone	$19.3 million	BRIDG is leveraging the investments of time and funding, ~$200M, imec (Belgium) has made by licensing and transferring the imec silicon interposer technology, and making it available to the U.S. industrial base at the Center for Neovation to support heterogenous chip integration for both digital and radio-frequency systems.
Air Force Research Lab	$7.6 million	BRIDG is developing, testing and verifying a Secure Digital Twin manufacturing architecture which applies block-chain trust and assurance security concepts, product lifecycle management and “digital twin” manufacturing concepts to the semiconductor manufacturing process.

Osceola County (2022 and 2023)	$20.7 million	Provided every single graduating high school senior in Osceola County a full scholarship to attend either our local community college or our local trade school, regardless of citizenship, income, or whether they graduated public, private, or home-schooled.
U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF)	$160 million	An initial investment of around $15 million for the first two years, potentially reaching $160 million over the next decade. This major investment from the NSF enables the human capital necessary to transform our region’s semiconductor industry into a world class innovation ecosystem, partnering with workforce development and higher education, funding next generation R&D projects, and standing up a formal structure to oversee the translation of research and innovation to commercialization. Osceola County Wins Generational Federal Investment in U.S. Semiconductor Manufacturing

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) officially awarded the Orlando region $50.8 as one of 21 recipients of the Build Back Better Regional Challenge (BBBRC). Following a yearlong application process, the once-in-a-generation investment will fund the expansion of facilities at Osceola County’s NeoCity, the development of a robust semiconductor talent pipeline, and a governance structure modeled after the Central Florida Cluster Initiative, Cenfluence.

BRIDG-Led Coalition Secures $160 Million NSF Grant for NeoCity Innovation Hub

The BRIDG-led coalition has clinched the NSF Engine award in the Regional Innovation Engines competition, as announced by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF). This accolade comes with an initial funding injection of around $15 million for the first two years, potentially reaching $160 million over the next decade.

The Center for NeoVation is one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing research centers in the western hemisphere. The Center is currently being utilized by imec, an international research & development organization active in the fields of nanoelectronics and digital technologies, as well as U.S. based foundry SkyWater Technologies, which is the current operator of the fabrication facility.
